BUFFALO HUNTING SPECIALISTS
LARGE HERDS PRODUCE QUALITY TROPHIES
Otterskloof is known for the quality of Buffalo hunts on offer.
Our large herds of Cape Buffalo produce a good number of mature, hard-bossed trophies every year.
Coupled with a varied and challenging hunting environment, it makes for a memorable hunt.
The hunting team at Otterskloof is experienced in hunting these magnificent and notorious animals and have made many a hunter's Buffalo Trophy dream come true.
We recommend a 6 day hunting trip for a Buffalo hunt.
BUFFALO HUNTING GEAR
Specialist Gear
Hunting these animals require specialist gear as a wounded Buffalo is not only dangerous, but also hard to track down.
We recommend a minimum of .375 calibre rifle with a 300 grain round. Our professional hunters are equiped with ..416 caliber backup rifles. A mix of solid and soft rounds are recommended.
As these hunts are done on foot with considerable walking distances, we recommend taking this into consideration when planning.
You will be accompanied by a skilled Professional Hunter who has concluded a number of Buffalo Hunts as well as a skilled tracker to stalk these dangerous animals.
